Hi, Thangs very much for the blogspot and the opportunity to comment on a long lost friend. First off, and with all due respect, your poster, however cool it is is wrong. The picture was taken from his very first gig following the University of Melbourne gig which took place on May 3rd, 1981. The picture is from an outdoor gig we played (Mig "Svengarlig" Bertel, George B. George, and Johnny "bonghit" Ryan, and Philip in Berkely, California, I remember that day very well, as the "Slits" had the top-billing. Talk about babes, those "thangs" were "Hod", real "HOD", and we all had a most groovin time with those skirts after their set. It's no big deal, you got the set list down perfect so who gives a fuck about them other the facts don't mean a thing so to speak. I am real glad you are keeping the Snakefinger alive. It is a pleasure to see the likes of you dude-amente's interest in this man. In return if you need any info about the history of the band, let me know. I went to every gig and played drums from 1980-1987 w/Snakefinger and am workin on a book about the kat. Those were memorable days indeed. Philip would've dug the shit out of what you did. Don't hesitate to contact me at You take good care!!
